Office 365에 Mail Relay 서비스를 구성하는 방법
A mail relay service in Office 365 is a service that acts as an intermediary between your on-premises mail server and Office 365, allowing you to send email messages from your on-premises environment to the Internet. Here's how to use a mail relay service in Office 365:
1.Set up a connector: In the Office 365 Exchange admin center, go to the "Mail flow" section, and then click on "Connectors." Create a new connector and choose "From your organization's email server" as the connector type.
2.Configure the connector: In the configuration page, enter the IP addresses of your on-premises mail server, and select "Use a smart host to send email" as the delivery method. Enter the IP address or host name of your mail relay service as the smart host.
3.Test the connector: You can use the "Test" button in the configuration page to verify that your connector is set up correctly and that your on-premises mail server can successfully connect to the mail relay service.
4.Update your on-premises mail server configuration: Update your on-premises mail server configuration to use the IP address of the mail relay service as its outbound mail gateway.
Once you've completed these steps, email messages sent from your on-premises environment will be sent to the mail relay service, which will then forward the messages to Office 365. The mail relay service will be responsible for authenticating the connection, ensuring that the messages are properly formatted, and delivering the messages to the correct recipients.
It's important to note that using a mail relay service can improve the reliability and security of your email delivery, but it also introduces an additional layer of complexity to your email infrastructure. It's recommended that you have a good understanding of your organization's email requirements and the capabilities of your mail relay service before implementing this solution.
